Safety shoes are footwear designed to provide protective coverage for the feet, featuring functions such as toe protection, puncture resistance, electrical insulation, and acid & alkali resistance. The selection of safety shoes shall be determined by the type and severity of hazards present in the working environment, and all products must comply with relevant national standards in terms of quality.
Safety shoes are categorized into specialized types including anti-static shoes, conductive shoes, electrical insulating shoes, impact-resistant toe shoes, puncture-resistant shoes, acid & alkali resistant shoes, oil-resistant shoes, anti-slip shoes, cold-proof shoes and waterproof shoes.
All personnel entering construction sites must wear puncture-resistant safety shoes; anti-slip safety shoes shall be provided for winter construction work; workers operating at heights shall wear soft-soled anti-slip safety shoes; installers shall wear safety shoes integrating both puncture resistance and toe impact protection; electricians, welders and other staff who may come into contact with electrical equipment shall wear safety shoes with both puncture resistance and electrical insulation performance.
Each pair of safety shoes shall be accompanied by a product certificate and user manual. Users shall read the manual against actual working conditions before use and follow correct operation instructions. Special protective safety shoes shall be inspected and cleaned after each use, and stored in a dry place free from contaminants.
