Crafting Safety & Durability: The Production Process of Jiangxi Saian Safety Shoes

  1. Upper Preparation & Precision Cutting
The process begins with selecting premium, wear-resistant, and breathable upper materials (leather or synthetic fabrics). Our skilled workers cut materials into precise patterns using automated cutting machines, ensuring consistency in size and shape. Critical protective components—steel toe caps (for impact resistance) and Kevlar anti-puncture layers—are prepped and integrated into the upper, laying the foundation for core safety performance.
2. Stitching & Roughing: Strong Bonding Base
Cut upper panels move to our 6 professional needlework lines. Experienced seamstresses stitch panels with reinforced seams, enhancing durability and structural stability. Next, the upper’s bottom surface undergoes roughing (a key pre-bonding process): specialized equipment roughens the surface to boost adhesion between the upper and PU sole, preventing peeling or separation during use.
3. Lasting & Mold Preheating: Shaping the Foundation
The stitched upper is stretched tightly over a foot-shaped shoe last to form the shoe’s final contour. It’s then securely positioned into molds, which are preheated to 40–60°C to optimize PU material flow and bonding. Our 2 toe lasting lines ensure precise shaping of the toe area, critical for protective safety shoes.

4. PU Injection Molding: Core Durability Step
This is the heart of our production—powered by 3 advanced PU injection lines. Liquid PU raw materials (A/B components) are mixed in precise ratios, then injected into closed molds under high pressure. The PU foams and cures, forming a seamless, one-piece sole that chemically bonds with the upper. No glue, no stitching—this direct injection method delivers unmatched durability, shock absorption, and water resistance, far superior to traditional cemented soles.
5. Cooling, Demolding & Trimming
After injection, molds cool to solidify the PU sole. Once cooled, molds open automatically, and finished shoes are demolded. Workers remove excess PU material via trimming and sanding, smoothing edges for a comfortable, polished finish.
6. Strict Quality Inspection (EN ISO 20345 Compliant)
Quality is non-negotiable. Our in-house laboratory, staffed by professional inspectors, conducts rigorous testing at every stage—from raw materials to finished goods. Key tests include:
Impact & compression resistance: Steel toe caps withstand 15kN pressure and 200J impact.
Anti-puncture performance: Soles resist 1100N penetration.
Slip, oil & abrasion resistance: Ensuring safety in wet, oily, or harsh environments.
All products fully comply with EN ISO 20345 international safety standards, guaranteeing reliable protection for workers.
7. Finishing & Packaging
